Well here I am then back from the UK after an amazing R&R. This post was really to say im back and that ill be doing a video tonight with an update of what happened and what I did today, for now know that im safe and rock on.

Im sat in the terminal waiting to get on the plane, its landed here so just a matter of time till im home

I could totally be jumping the gun here but a post over on Keen and Graevs blog had me in shock… could it be true?!?! Are Slayers inbound?!?!?!?!

Ive always said to everyone who I play WAR with that if Slayers were in the game I would be a Dwarf player from the outset, and it looks as if ill be changing servers to accommodate my new choice!

TMG in Afghanistan: Day 64 – Homeward Bound

As the title says , today im flying home for a week.  Honestly the time has flownby, its hard to think ive been here for two months already! Over two months in fact!  I console myself with the fact that once im back out here again ill only have to do the short month of February and then some of March, then im home for good!!! Till next time at least.

No updates from me yesterday since I packed my bag of things I dont need (and do need) to take home with me, this included a load of kit im not using,  presents for family, my weight training gear and random other knick knacks.  After I had done that I played a few retro games such as Family Fued (Family FOrtune in the UK) and WHeel of FOrtune.  Now these games are stupidly fun but I suck at them, well not so much as suck, but the computer sucks at interpreting what I mean.  One clue on Family Fued was “Name something which makes a loud bang” I buzz in first and type FIREWORK.  I get a massive INCORRECT from the computer which annoyed me, then the computer makes a guess FIREWORKS and get the point, COME THE FUCK ON!!!  But I cant complain its fun and addictive.

Ive decided that not a lot of work is going to get done today, ill be too busy sorting out my own admin such as finding my passport (I think I know where it is) and check in time etc.  I think I need to go check in at 1400 for my bag and then they will tell me what time I need to be back at the terminal to check myself in then ill be climbing on the plane WHOOP WHOOP!

I probably could wait longer till  I took my leave but right now is the best time for it, with it being my Mum and my Best Friends birthdays on the day I land its a special time for me.

Ill try to do updates while im at home although I cant promise anything since I will be maximising the time im with my family and want to soak up every minute I can with them.

TMG in Afghanistan: Day 63

Im typing this for today from work since im not sure if ill find time to use the internet later on.  Key piece of news is that I feel better than I did yesterday but still not right.  Ive decided that ill be coming home tomorrow no matter what so may as well get on with it.

On a personal front ive started to be creative, im not going to say much more about how or why till I have something substantial to show you but its going to be fun!

Work is going fine, ive done all my work once before more appeared in the tray but now im spending a little time doing nothing that exciting, tonight ill be packing to go and see my family, I really cant wait!!!

Plan when I get home is the following:

1. Get back to my base and go to the HQ to grab some docs
2. Go home say hi to family and have a BATH!!!!! (CANT FRIGGING WAIT!)
3. Be drunk

Thats really about it, im not going to piss the whole week away in a drunken haze but ill have some of the forbidden liquid anyway 😛

So anyway ill sign off with a “I cant wait to get home” and “Stay Classy!”

TMG in Afghanistan: Day 62

Soryr for lack of update on day 60 but the net was being super slow and I couldnt get the vid uploaded (hopefully its going up now) Nothing to report since for the last two days ive been ill with flu! Docs have downgraded me as unfit to fly which means if im not better by thursday then I wont be coming home….  God damn im hoping ill be better, if not ill just fake it!

TMG in Afghanistan: Day 59

NO vid today since I ran in and out again to get on MSN. Im pretty desperate for Sex now…… Mrs B better watch out when im home… Im pretty highly sexed anyway and being here without anything for 2 months is killing me…. be home in 4 days though lets get it on!

Half day for me tomorrow so ill do a vid 🙂 since ill actually have time.

TMG in Afghanistan: Day 58

No vid again since I really couldnt be bothered, its actually quicker to do a video and upload it than type but sue me!

Today was spent counting down to R&R its my main drive and primary focus right now, nothing else matters except getting on that plane next Thursday!  Apart from that I think im getting a cold or flu or something.  I can feel it coming on right now which isnt nice.  I dont want to go home and infect everyone!

Tomorrow is Saturday which means its a nice quick day seeing as we go to the jingly market and all that, will see what bargains can be had, if any!

Anyhoo thats really about it, you stay classy!
